After singing "through sheer willpower" during a jam-packed performance schedule, KISS frontman Paul Stanley sought vocal chord surgery in 2011. "The nature of rock singing is a strain on the when and when you compound that with that amount of show, you're not giving yourself time to recuperate and the problem is compounded," he told the 'Hollywood Reporter.'
