Singers Silenced By Vocal Issues
"It was literally like someone switched a click off in my throat...I felt like something popped in my throat," Adele told Anderson Cooper of the moment her vocals went wrong. In November 2011, the singer-songwriter went in for a laser microsurgery on her throat. And while many feared her award-winning sound may be forever damaged, Adele proved otherwise when she belted out "Rolling in The Deep" at the 2012 Grammy Awards. That night, she took home all six awards she was nominated for — showing that she was back, but better than ever.
