‘Star Wars’ Cast: Where Are They Now?
Princess Leia, played by Carrie Fisher: Fisher was launched into superstardom in 1977 after the release of 'Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope'. She continued to reprise her role of Princess Leia until 'Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi'. After the series' end, Fisher made numerous TV appearances and penned two books. During a press tour for her memoir, Fisher revealed that she wished she had turned down Leia's part, a role that led her to a cocaine addiction during the making of 'Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back'.
