7. Snape protects the trio (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, 2004):
As this movie was released at a time when we were still unsure - though many suspected - of Snape's true loyalties, this split second of instinctual reaction gave the good-guy-camp something to shout about. In the film, Snape, who had seconds before been leering and threatening, throws out his arms to protect the trio of students from an oncoming wolf - a gut reaction that might have given away the game but was nonetheless one of the most discussed moments in the third film.
