As a straight kid who grew up mostly raised by women (his own words), Abraham has spoken out on 'The Glee Project' before about being perceived as gay or simply effeminate. So why not tackle such an issue within the halls of McKinley high school, as well? His character could be a super popular confidante with all of the girls—because they don’t see him as someone trying to get into their pants. Until he is. Obviously. This is high school, after all!
