Adam Brody drew the ire of Twi-hards when he suggested press-shy Kristen Stewart "just quit" acting. "You don't need to be an actress," he told MTV. "If it's that much of a problem, there's the door." (He later called his comments "ungentlemanly.")

xDD who is this guy? Its pretty funny, I'm pretty damn sure he has never met her. She loves acting its the press that makes her uncomfortable but you know what? She has a passion for acting and she's kept up with media bullshit, and heavy loaded press conferences, interviews and cameras to be able to do what she loves. WHEN DOES SHE COMPLAIN? Give me a time when she complains. She probably says stuff like "I hate when the media says i don't care when i do." things like that but thats not complaining, thats pointing shit out. This guy, haha, this guy has no idea what that feels like because he probably has nothing to do. He probably doesn't have his schedule filled with interviews and press conferences.

He's right though. You're in the business and it comes with it. You don't have to like it, but don't complain about it every 2 seconds.

You don't know if it's true (truth is twisted in Hollywood with all the gossip) but he does kinda have a point. Everyone I know who is professional with acting and theatre have said that Kristen is a bad actress. She plays every role EXACTLY THE SAME! (And notice that she seems EXACTLY THE SAME in real life too!) But yeah, I guess it's still rude to say that. Especially when she's a millionaire. Maybe she only goes for those types of roles? The ones that are like herself, genius.

This is kind of true. Kristen does tend to complain about her job a lot. I get she isn't used to this much press and fame but she is living the actor's dream. She should be proud but instead she complains and looks nauseated all the time.

He was not talking about Kristen herself. He was talking about celebrities who are moaning about it too much. He never said Kristen should quit. Get the facts right. All sites are just pushing this stuff.

i love him, but kristen didn't want to be a celebrity...she wanted to be an actress....so i was kindo of shocked when he said that beacause they were in a movie together. But i do respect him very much for calling himself ungentlemanly.
