As a high school senior, I agree. They don't join any clubs, run for any school office, join any sports teams, or do any other extra-curricular. They just show up to class half the time. Yeah, that would be hell. And they chose to do that for all eternity why?
I think its funny that so many people are saying Anne Rice is the queen of vampire novels, but ALL of you are forgetting Bram Stoker who is the original author of Dracula. Who is way before her time. Hilarious. And another thing, who cares if someone likes Twilight or not? Its a series, some like it some don't. And, I personally hated interview with a vampire. It sucked, and the movie did too.
Anne rice is the queen of paranormal novels =D if you think she's a hag maybe you should read one of her books you ignoramus >=). Maybe it might educate you! Her books are a hell of a lot better than something that was recently created. True vampires do not sparkle honey.

Vampires are not real!! There are different myths about vampires, and not one myth is the real one! Just accept it as a good story and deal with it. If you don't like the way the Twilight books portray vampires, then ignore it and keep on rereading your other vampire books.

That is Anne Rice, she is called the queen of Vampire novels, trust me if anyone knows anything about Vampires and how to write them to trully capture the audience it's Anne, it's also thanks to her that you have your beloved Twilight, it was the success of Anne Rices books and the movies that was made of them that gave publishers and the movie business the curage to make more books and movies about Vampires. Every true vampire novel author says that Anne is the queen and no one will ever be able to write Vampires like she does. And also Stephenie Meyer has taken a lot of stuff from Anne Rice's books (and ruined it like she does with everything else), I can also say that I've come across several former Twilight fans who first loved Twilight but then read one of Anne Rice's books and realised that they are crap. blabber on hater my ears cant hear it
