Matthew McConaughey: Dude, We Had a Baby!

OK! exclusively reported the news that Brazilian model Camila Alves and boyfriend Matthew McConaughey welcomed their baby boy into the world at 6:22 p.m. Monday night, in Los Angeles.

No name for the junior McConaughey has been given to the press yet, but proud papa released this statement:

"A healthy baby boy was born. Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world—Having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure—raising one, together."

Of course, that's a bit more eloquent than when he blogged in January about being "stoked and wowed" about his unborn kid.

I don't think Matthew is ready to be a papa yet... that feeling will wear off after the first sleepless week.
