Leave it to Perez Hilton to crack the enigma code of the tween set's own romantic are-they-or-aren't-they idols, Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas.

The gossip blogger picked up on this confession Gomez, 15, told Twist for an upcoming issue:

"While we were slow dancing…my crush and I had our first kiss! After it, I leaned back and I said, 'You cheated.' And he said, 'Why' and I said, 'I don't kiss on the first date.' Then he said, 'Well, I never really play by the rules.'"

Well, that seems innocuous enough, until it's paired with this quote Nick gave to Girl's Life last month:

"On one date, the girl said to me, 'I don't kiss on the first date.' So I said, 'I don't follow the rules.' Ooooh! It was so good!"

Nice! Busted like two ninth graders caught making out in the band room!

Who did these two think they were, anyway? Chris Brown and Rihanna? They've got a few more years till they graduate to that level of dating on the down-low.

okay, so basically they are really cute...
even tho nick and i would be WAY better...

I really don't think Nelena looks good together Niley does even though i don't really like her but they made a cute couple and i heard miley is saying she is thinking about trying to i guess rekindle the lost relationship between her and nick i don't think it's gonna happen because he broke up with her for a reason and that same reason is probrally she is a camera whore..

Nick completes Miley and Miley completes Nick ....Selena can't even compete with that, although I am sure she will try.

NILEY will 4EVA be in the hearts of true MiCy/JB fans. If you love 'em, then you should want them to be happy.

I can't wait to see if he responds to her comments in Seventeen mag.
