The countdown for Katie Holmes' October 16 debut in the stage production of Arthur Miller's All My Sons is on, and during rehearsal for the play yesterday, the Dawson's Creek actress received a boost of support from husband Tom Cruise and their two-year-old daughter, Suri.

Tom and Suri arrived at the Schoenfeld Theater in New York yesterday, where Katie's been putting in 12-hour days in preparation for opening night, the Daily Mail reports.

Displaying an early penchant for fashion ability, Suri toted a personalized red-and-white handbag with her name emblazoned across it as her mother prepped for her role.

Later, Tom and Katie were all smiles and embraces outside the theater as photographers captured the elated couple.

They have reason to be happy; while early reports indicated dismal ticket sales for the play, its producers recently revealed that there have been $3.5 million in advance sales.

Way to silence the haters, and look good doing it.
