Project Runway Gets a Lifeline From Lifetime

Good news, Project Runway fans—Heidi, Michael, Tim and Nina are returning to the airwaves!

People reports that the show—which has been stuck in extended limbo due to network squabbling—will begin airing this summer on the Lifetime Channel.

The network shift isn't the only change that will take place. The show will be pulling up stakes and moving from New York to Los Angeles for its upcoming season—which, according to a source, means that the show will utilize celebrity-rich "local resources."  It's rumored that the upcoming season will feature appearances by Christina Aguilera, Eva Longoria Parker and Rebecca Romijn.

Hopefully there won't be any cases of assault-by-feline involved.
