The R-Pattz Co-Star Curse Is Real!
Is Robert Pattinson‘s sex appeal so utterly overwhelming that he’s capable of destroying relationships just by co-starring with someone?
The New York Post reports that Uma Thurman, who’s scheduled to share the screen with Pattinson in the upcoming romance flick Bel Ami, has split up with her fiancé, hedge fund manager Arki Busson, making Busson the latest in a long line of victims of what many (okay, so far, “we”) are calling The R-Pattz Co-Star Curse.
The earliest recorded instance of The R-Pattz Co-Star Curse (copyright pending) occurred early this year, when Gentlemen Broncos actor Michael Angarano, who had been dating Pattinson’s Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, suddenly disappeared from Stewart’s life with the swiftness and completeness of a Soviet dissident.
But this was just the beginning of R-Pattz’s relationship-wrecking streak. Back in June, as she prepared to film the romantic comedy Remember Me with Pattinson, Lost star Emilie de Ravin announced that she was parting ways with her husband of three years, December Ends thesp Josh Janowicz. And thus, a pattern emerged.
And now, with Uma Thurman’s breakup, The R-Pattz Co-Star Curse has reached out to crush yet another formerly happy relationship.
If we were The Wrestler director Darren Aranofsky—who’s engaged (for now anyway) to Rachel Weisz, who’ll be co-starring with Pattinson in the upcoming historical drama Unbound Captives—we’d be pretty worried right now.
Then again, given that Aranofsky is currently preparing to film an angry, aggressive sex scene between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, he might have already mentally checked out of that relationship.

This is seriously grasping for stories Celebuzz..really, start getting ALL the facts straight instead of jumping to ridiculous conclusions. EDR and her hubby apparantly reconciled and their seperation had NOTHING to do with Rob, and I am sure Uma and her ex fiancè has their own issues and they haven’t even begun filming Bel Ami yet! Get the FACTS but then again it isn’t as much fun as creating ridiculous rumors isn’t it?

Very funny, however can I just point out that Bel Ami is not a romance (there may be lots of sex, but romance is dead) and also Remember Me is NOT a romantic comedy, it is a drama with a romance, but lots of family drama too.

This is 100% true. I went to Twilight with my boyfriend, and was so overwhelmed by RPattz hotness that I left him on the spot. I told my bf that I was going to the ladies room, but really I took the car keys and drove off into the sunset. That was just watching the movie. The havoc he could wreck in his undiluted form…
Well, im not really sure here, given my life / relationship, i wouldn’t break up per sa but I definately would milk it up so much with the romantic scenes, and would love it to death that I would be able to lock lips with such a sexy actor. But Uma Thurman is older I doubt it the case here maybe just a coinsidence no one should be freaking out until you see him having his movie girlfriends on his arms long after the movie is over.

EDR dumped her husband for publicty. I doubt they were ever really separated. She probably hoped she could hitch her wagon to Rob’s star and milk as much publicity for her lame tv career as she could. UMA split with her fiance months ago. Rob is not her type. still not sure if Rob and Kristen are together, but something tell me that Rob is a one woman man…so if he is with Kristen his not going to search elsewhere… besides she is perfect for Rob.
And my opinion as nothing to do with their character in twillight

I think this article is just for fun and we have all these sort of comments which this site needed. I think that what happened to Rob and Kristen is purely circumstances that came along in their lives. A sort of some unexpected feeling that probably they themselves can’t explain knowing that Kristen have Mike at that time. She was just a teen-ager when she was with Mike, a kind of puppy love, I supposed but when Rob came, this is someone who is completely different from a person she used to be with for almost 3 years. She probably developed an admiration to this British Hunk and completely falling quite hard over him with all his antics to win her. British men have different ways of wooing their women than Americans do, not to mention Rob’s natural sex appeal, all of those formula tickles KStew’s heart. I bet she was in a terrible position at that time how to decide between the two but it’s always the experienced one that qualifies when it comes to choosing wisely, the look comes after although she might find the look of RPattz attractive in the beginning of the audition (he got an incredible pair of sexy eyes). But what Kristen doesn’t know for sure is how long she can handle this relationship and how RPatzz could resists all of these temptations because for sure there will be another circumstances that will come along their ways when there will be another kind of RPattz or another Angelina Jolie kind of antics to change and separate their ways. So young to be involved really with this kind of mess. Well, I wish them luck and happy ending, I love them both and I do believe in saying: “Life is what we make it.” So go on and be strong to those temptations that you will encounter in this world of celebrities where lots of beautiful people are messing around.
