'Real Housewife of Orange County' Vicki Gunvalson Threatened

Sure they're annoying, but this is ridiculous.

Vicki Gunvalson, one of the stars of Bravo's reality series The Real Housewives of Orange County, has been receiving death threats.

TMZ reports that the Orange County Sherrif's Department has launched an investigation into two threats that the whirly-eyed Gunvalson is said to have received from "a fanatical female fan who takes the show way too seriously," according to an Orange Country PD spokesperson.

One threat came in the form of a telephone call, and the other was sent via e-mail to Gunvalson's castmate Jeana Keough.

The e-mail Keough received reportedly told her not to worry about Gunvalson because the author "would take care of Vicki for her." Whoa!

Gunvalson owns a successful insurance agency, and has been with the series since its inception.

    I won't pretend to act like I don't watch this show religiously. It's some of the most amazing mindless smut on television.
