Heidi Klum from Project Runway, Tom Bergeron from Dancing with the Stars, Ryan Seacrest from American Idol, Howie Mandel from Deal or No Deal and Jeff Probst from Survivor—the five contestants for the newest Emmy category—will be sharing hosting duties for the Emmy awards show on September 21.

According to executive producer for the television event, Ken Ehrlich: “They were excited by this. They got it, what a fresh idea this was and how this could be fun for them,” Ehrlich told the press.

Last year, Ryan Seacrest played host for the awards show, giving him a clear advantage over the four other nominees.

Even though their hosting won’t affect the outcome for the Reality TV Host category, since the votes will have already been tallied, it’s still fun to imagine it will. Especially, if the nominees are suddenly tasked with a swimsuit competition.

The smart person’s money would be on Heidi Klum.
