Reese and Jake Will Do the Deed
Love is the drug for Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal, and OK! reports they’re about to take one big hit.
The two were in dating bliss recently at a Charleston, South Carolina, café, but a source tells the mag, “They’ve been talking marriage for a while. They’ll be formally engaged any day now. They want to spend the rest of their lives together.”
Now that Reese’s kids, Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4, are all comfy with stepdad-to-be Jake, and her ex Ryan Phillippe has finally resigned himself to the fact that his box-office-bonanza babe is gone like the wind, the air is clear for a new family formation.
And this won’t be any elopement or shack-up sitch, as Witherspoon is all about southern-fried tradition. “This is a very serious relationship,” a source tells Us, “but Reese is very conservative. I’m sure she doesn’t want her kids to see her ‘living in sin.’ “
Neither star’s rep will confirm the impending nuptials, but in Hollywood’s own tradition, that means squat. Mazel tov, you two!
