Reese and Ryan: End of an Era
It’s over. The supercouple that was once Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are officially divorced, living on now only in the sweet faces of kids Ava and Deacon.
Ryan has moved on to Aussie actress Abbie Cornish, escorting her publicly for the first time to the 2008 Australian in Film Breakthrough Awards. “They were adorable,” a source told People magazine. “He had his arm around her, and they were cozy and comfortable,” cuddling through the entire ceremony.
And Reese…oh, how Reese has soldiered on, capturing the heart of beloved-by-gays pretty boy Jake Gyllenhaal. Their courtship has given the world hours and hours of tabloid merriment.
But this post doesn’t concern new hookups. Instead, we look back at a great love that is no more.
