Reese Witherspoon Not Ready to Marry Jake
Noticeably absent from from last night’s Four Christmases premiere were two men in Reese Witherspoon‘s life; her co-star in the romantic comedy, Vince Vaughn, 38, and her real-life boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal.
But while Jake, 27, and Reese, 32, are still very much together, Reece isn’t keen on marrying again anytime soon.
“Family is all we have in life, but I don’t know how I feel about marriage,” she tells Parade magazine. “Obviously, I’m not far enough out of being married to think about doing it again. You sort of reconstitute your family. You find a family, with people who come into your life for a reason.”
Witherspoon married fellow actor and Cruel Intentions co-star Ryan Phillippe in 1999. They have a daughter Ava, 8, and a son, Deacon, 5, together. The pair split in 2006 after Phillippe’s alleged infidelity.
“There are things in my life that are hard to reconcile, like divorce. Sometimes it is very difficult to make sense of how it could possibly happen,” the Legally Blonde actress says.
It makes sense, then, why Reese often pretends she’s a country crooner when she’s behind the wheel of her car. They’re the ones singing the saddest songs.
I’m sure Jake Gyllenhaal doesn’t give a sh*t about his beard.
