Report: Charlie Sheen Engaged in Knife-to-Wife Combat on Christmas
And we thought our holiday gatherings had their awkward moments this year.
More details about Charlie Sheen‘s super-duper Christmas spectacular with his wife Brooke Mueller are emerging, and it appears that the two had quite the pointed argument.
According to TMZ, the 44-year-old Two and a Half Men star pulled a knife on Mueller, whom he married on May 30, 2008, during their Yuletide blowout in Aspen, Colorado, and threatened her with it. Law-enforcement authorities add that Mueller had marks on her body when police arrived on the scene, though it is unclear whether the marks were the result of her altercation with Sheen.
Sheen, who was charged with felony menacing, maintains that he was merely defending himself against Mueller, who registered a literally staggering .13 on a subsequent BAC test. (Sheen weighed in with a relatively tame .04 blood-alcohol level.)
Mueller has recanted much of her initial story, so it remains to be seen what fate Sheen, who was released from Pitkin County Jail on an $8,500 bond, will face.
The actor is scheduled to appear in court on February 8, 2010. Memo to Charlie: Leave the cutlery at home for that one.
Looks to me like Ms. Mueller can’t handle her alcohol, considering Charlie was not even legally intoxicated, seems to me like she was extremely DRUNK AND MAKING A SCENE, DON’T WORRY CHARLIE WE LOVE YOU!!!!
