Report: Robert Pattinson Has Ditched Kristen for Emilie de Ravin
In news that will likely send waves of despair throughout Team Robsten, Life & Style reports that Robert Pattinson has abandoned his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart—so that he can take up with his Remember Me co-star Emilie de Ravin.
“Robert met Emilie a while ago and has always liked her,” an insider tells the magazine. “He’s the one who suggested to the producers at Summit [the same production company responsible for the Twilight series] that she’d be perfect for Remember Me. In the original screenplay, her part was written for an actress of Mexican descent.”
And once R-Pattz secured a spot in the film for De Ravin—who split up with her husband, Josh Janowicz, slightly before filming began—it didn’t take long for the pair to develop chemistry off-camera as well as on.
“I watched them filming on July 2, and they got along very, very well,” says a spy. “At one point between takes, they stopped into a shop to get a drink together; they seem to like each other a lot.”
Moreover, when the two hung out together at the Bowery Hotel in New York on June 14 with R-Pattz’s Twilight co-star Elizabeth Reaser, Reaser their relationship out of the bag with a slip of the tongue, so to speak.
An eyewitness at the scene notes that, when De Ravin expressed concern to Reaser about how her kissing scenes with Pattinson would look on-screen, Reaser—who plays R-Pattz’s mother in the Twilight series—replied, “However you kiss Rob in real life, just do that!”
Well, as the saying goes, mother knows best.

The real truth is that Kristen and Robert are just friends! I’ve had the impression from watching his interviews etc. that he’s come across as a pretty nice guy, who’s a little shy and overwhelmed by all the fuss. But basically a fairly decent person. So if we’re to believe that he’d talk Kristen into dumping her boyfriend of 3 or 4 years to be with him, and then just because they’re separated while making different movies, dump her and hook up with the current co-star, well, sorry I’d have to change my good opinion of him and think that he was really not a very nice person.
