Report: Robert Pattinson Involved in Car Accident
Robert Pattinson‘s charm and mojo are so strong, that even the guy whose car he reportedly smacked into seems to be wooed by his aura.
The Twilight actor reportedly got in a fender-bender on Saturday night, colliding with a parked car as he left a friend’s Malibu, California, home. According to witnesses, the accident occurred at approximately 9 p.m., as R-Pattz ran into a parked Kia.
The car’s owner, Rob Gottschlich, tells OK! Magazine that he isn’t likely to pursue the issue—except for maybe hitting up R-Pattz for free movie tickets the next time he sees him:
“If I had a nice car like a Lexus or something, maybe [I would be concerned], but I’ve got an old Kia. I am going to ask Rob next time I see him for free tickets to the next Twilight film.”
The Malibu Sheriff’s Office reports that no complaints have been filed regarding the alleged accident. The actor’s rep, meanwhile, casts doubt on the accident story, noting that Pattinson isn’t aware of having struck another vehicle. The rep suggests, however, that if an accident did occur, it might be because his client was distracted by the paparazzi snapping shots of him:
“Robert was pulling out of a parking space after a quiet day in Malibu yesterday and was relentlessly pursued by paparazzi. He has no knowledge of having bumped or damaged another car in the process.”
Pattinson did, in fact, exchange heated words with the shutterbugs over the course of the day Saturday, pleading with them to leave him alone and asking the police to intervene. Check out the video exchange below:

That has got to be the worst pap video I’ve even seen. They are so relentless and cruel. He just didn’t want them to follow him home! He even just stood there so they could get a picture and they coudln’t even let him leave in peace? And the cops did NOTHING! I hope they feel horrible.
And GossipCop confirmed that Rob didn’t really hit anyone’s car. Stop making up lies just for a headline. Rob is the most gracious celebrity out there. He didn’t even raise his voice at them! And yet here you are saying he hit a car and then left. You are all pathetic.

What a liar. There’s pictures of the damage he cause to the Kia vehicle. Also the victim was interviewed about it, and confirmed the damage. Said it was no big deal. Mr. Pattinson is not a very honest person. That’s a bad quality as a human being. Shame.
the pappz caused this accident. it is their fault. they can go to hell for the trouble they cause. Rob is very gracious and in no way racist and deffinatly not and alcoholic.
These are money hungry pigs who have no souls. They don’t care about anyone or anything else just to get a money shot! I think that they should get there pictures and then let him go and stop following him and that is right he didn’t yell or raise his voice but that is probably what they had hoped he would do that is pretty bad to hound someone like that.

This is so sad. I couldn’t imagine living my life under microscope. Not to be able to go to a grocery store, mall, or take a walk without someone taping me. I think it is absolutely horrible the way the paparazzi followed him the entire day while he was trying to spend time with his Mom and friends. He took the time to pose for them to try to get them to bug off and you go and print absolute libel about him. Thank Goodness he has grace because I for one would never be able to put up with that crap. There really needs to be something done about the paparazzi. I understand they are a celebrity and that people out they love to hear and see what he’s doing but you clearly crossed a line on Saturday.
