Looks like Katherine Heigl will get more than poor character development to whine about!

Us Weekly quotes a "well-placed source" saying Heigl's Grey's Anatomy character, Dr. Isobel Stevens, will be given a brain tumor to deal with this season. Is that as revenge for shooting her ungrateful mouth off?

“[Producer] Shonda [Rhimes] and the writers are pissed at her,” the source says. “It’s their way of screwing with her. She won’t know whether she’s going to live or die.”

ABC entertainment president Stephen McPherson insists Heigl is "absolutely staying with the show. There's an unbelievable storyline this season."

Great. A pretty young blonde getting cancer? Don't these people realize this will probably just lead to another Emmy nomination?
