Ricky Martin is now the father of twin boys, according to a statement released by the "She Bangs!" singer's representatives.

"Ricky is  elated to begin this new chapter in his life as a parent and will be spending the remainder of the year out of the public spotlight in order to spend time with his children," the statement reads.

The boys, who were born a few weeks ago, were "delivered via gestational surgery," a sophisticated medical procedure often used when the would-be father is unable to actually impregnate a female by traditional methods.

Congrats, Ricky! For someone who just had twins, you look fabulous. But then again, you usually do.

    Hi everybody,
    I can´t understand hy some of you guys are so much i nto his homosexuality (everybody s hould know that for years!).
    He i s a great person and I feel happy f or him satisfying his dream.
    I w ish him and his boys an incredible uture, with health and a lot of f riends who don´t blame him for be ing gay.
    It´s his life!
    Some of you should understand this and for get about your bigotry con cerning people like him. You bet ter wake up and see the real lif e!
