Looky here. Good buddies Rihanna and Chris Brown just happened to run into each other while taking a stroll down Melrose Avenue to do some shopping.

Rihanna's boots were made for shopping, apparently, with the singer strolling out and about in some $5,000 knee-high Balenciaga gladiator footwear, accompanied by her mother and little brother.

Adventurous fashionista Rihanna seems willing to try anything at least once, including dressing up in a train conductor's hat and frilly skirt. Her sort-of-undercover-but-not-really boyfriend Chris Brown has a favorite pair of red pants that he wears just about as often.

Maybe it's for the best that these two shop separately. They seem a little too willing to take fashion risks. With their powers combined, someone's ending up wearing high-heels and a chicken costume.
