Could her recent trip to the fashion capital of Paris, France, have persuaded pop princess Rihanna to go for a more stylish haircut?

The "Disturbia" singer, 20, was sporting a curlier 'do while zipping through the City of Lights with Chris Brown. The look seems to have stuck with her. The "Umbrella" girl's hair looked even more twisting and elaborate in these pics from her jaunt to London for New Year's Eve.

Ri-Ri rang in 2009 at hip club Movida in old Londontown. Afterward, she played the homebody and headed back to her hotel.

The Barbadian beauty's beau Chris Brown, 19, was nowhere to be seen in the joint, though the couple was photographed together earlier in the evening.

Next up for Rihanna: Singing at the Recording Industry Association of America's Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball for Barack Obama on January 20.

Will her flamboyant new tresses still be on display by then?

I think she has been a trendsetter for hair styles. Remember the hairstyle she had for her video clip- 'Umbrella'? Most of my friends had that hairstyle the time the video was around.
