Despite a recent statement by her father that he supports her, other relatives of Rihanna‘s have told People they feel that the “Take A Bow” singer getting back together with Chris Brown is a mistake.

“Everyone wants them to take a break, to cool off,” an anonymous relative said. “No one wants them back together.”

Brown is accused of beating Rihanna on Feb. 8, and will appear in court on Thursday to face a charge of felony threats.

The singers, who appear to have reconciled despite the incident, recently spent the weekend at the Miami home of Diddy.

They have since been spotted returning to Los Angeles yesterday, presumably for Brown’s court appearance.

Relatives are said to have thought their relationship was over after incident, and Rihanna had gone to her home in Barbados and then Mexico to recuperate.

“I’m concerned,” the relative continued. “I don’t want her to make a mistake, and I don’t want her to ever go through his again.”
