Rihanna Cooperating With District Attorney, Authorities Say

The Los Angeles District Attorney's office denies that Rihanna has stopped cooperating with them in their investigation into her alleged assault, according to Us Magazine.

Earlier reports claimed that the 21-year-old "Disturbia" singer had clammed up to prosecutors in an effort to make the whole thing "go away." However, Los Angeles County District Attorney spokesperson Sandi Gibbons tells the magazine, "We deal with her attorney, who says she is a cooperating victim."

"She will do everything that the law requires her to do," confirms Rihanna's lawyer, Donald Etra. "Nothing has changed."

Rihanna's boyfriend, Chris Brown, allegedly assaulted Rihanna following a pre-Grammys party on February 8, following an argument about a text message that Brown had received from another woman.

Brown, who received a continuance on his arraignment in early March, will return to court on April 6, when he will face two felony charges of assault and making criminal threats.
