Corey Haim, who passed away of an apparent drug overdose at the age of 38 early Wednesday morning, may have struggled with substance abuse in his later years, but the actor’s personal demons are eclipsed by an accomplished career that launched him into stardom in the 1980s and showed recent signs of a comeback (Haim was scheduled for several projects in 2010). As we come to grips with the Lost Boys actor’s untimely passing, let’s look back at happier times with a photo gallery of Haim’s heyday.

I absolutely LOVE this movie. Corey Haim’s performance was truly unforgettable. You will be missed.
All that can be said is “what a crying shame”! It seems so long ago when Corey Haim was this fresh-faced kid actor bursting with talent. I figured he’d be around a long time and, as he grew older, he’d hone his acting skills and transition to a leading man, probably in romantic-comedy type films. This is just so, so sad. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. All we can hope for is that Corey now rests in Eternal Peace.
