Robert Pattinson Chops His Trademark Locks
Apparently his old haircut was just too much of a pain in the neck.
Robert Pattinson, the 22-year-old breakout star of Twilight, recently chopped off his iconic locks. The teen world’s favorite vampire is photographed here walking through London, England’s Heathrow Airport.
Was shearing his boyish mop a ploy to get more manly roles now that he’s found sudden success? The actor recently admitted he’d previously landed jobs as a child model due to his somewhat androgynous looks.
Pattinson’s packed his trusty guitar with his luggage. Maybe the aspiring musician, who has a tune of his own on the Twilight soundtrack, can sing a sad ballad for the Twilighters who will be dressed in black and in mourning over the vampiric British stud’s lost locks.
At any rate, Robert isn’t the only Twilight star who has been altering his looks lately. Taylor Lautner, who stars as Jacob Black in the the film, told MTV last week that he’s gained 19 pounds in a bid to keep his part in the film’s sequel, New Moon.
Following suit, Kristen Stewart will most likely be given a bit of a makeover when she takes on playing Joan Jett in the upcoming biopic about The Runaways.
But the big question is still Robert Pattinson’s hair.

I love the new look but then I love all of Rob’s looks. he looks hotin Little Ashes as Dali or as Toby in the Haunted Airman.
Extremely hot but as all true fans know… he looks hot in any role and with any haircut.

as much as his old locks were gorgeous and a trademark of his, it kinda also made him look shaggy, like unkempt.
but then again, i guess that’s all a part of the reason the girls loved him!

I personally think Rob pulls off watever looks he tries to.
He’s amazing at everything.
Especially in The Bad Mother’s Handbook where he was all nerdy with his glasses. He was absolutely adorable.
Who cares about Rob’s hair. Keep Taylor as Jacob Black Summit or you’ll lose half your viewers!
rob can change as much and anything he wants…his face and hair is not the only thing i like about him…don’t be soo shallow

His hair, or lack thereof, is not an issue. He’s an actor – and should be entitled to a wide variety of looks! Remember, it’s his talent that keeps him working – his looks are just the perks we get to enjoy while he gives memorable characters a voice!
He is still very good looking! His hair was not his only asset! He has gorgeous eyes and long thick eyelashes!! I think no matter what he does he will always look great!!!
I think it looks hot, but it better grow back before he starts filming New Moon! As we all know once you are a vampire your looks never change-so it would be tough to pull it off and I don’t think a wig would look as hot!

I THINK THREATING MOVIE PRODUCERS IS A WASTE OF TIME. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE ALL THE SAME PEOPLE IN THE MOVIE BUT, YOU CAN’T PLEASE EVERYONE. YOU EITHER WANT IT BY THE BOOK OR YOU DONT.
