Robert Pattinson: Drunk off 'Twilight' Popularity

Last night Robert Pattinson was whisked away in a car following the after party for the Twilight premiere in L.A.'s Westwood Village.

Pattinson, 22, slouched in the backseat of the vehicle, pulled his cap down and tried to hide his face. He appeared to be a bit groggy.

If he was drunk, Rob certainly deserved a nice stiff one; he's been doing endless promotion for Twilight, and the film is finally out in theaters on Friday.

It's already won the imaginations of Internet enthusiasts, such as the bloodthirsty aficionados on Buzznet.

Maybe R-Patts was just tired. The throngs of fans constantly screaming for him must be draining.

Either way, Pattinson revealed that he is signed on for New Moon and Eclipse, the next two feature film adaptations of author Stephanie Meyers' Twilight series.

If Twilight lives up to the hype and catapults the young British actor to superstardom, the hysteria surrounding the sequel could be twice as intense. He really will need a drink.

What in the world is wrong with you for such remarks? Please, be more personal to the person you are trying to insult, instead of terrible generaliztions. I'm American and love foreign accents of all kinds. Does not make sense that anyone would not... As far as our vocal expressions, other than slang specific to certain parts of this country, what's so different about it? As far as Pattinson, people who do not think he is handsome are defintely a minority that is not important. I hope he succeeds.

Robert Pattinson is ugly. From his one eye that is wonker, odd-shaped nose and crooked teeth. I don't care anything about a British accent. I like sexy voices, period. He doesn't have one.

Yep his character is what makes him! I met him at the Twilight premiere (my little sis wanted to go!) and he looks like a hobo .. haha i have no idea what most girls find sexy about him. He was quite attractive in Twilight and New Moon.. only because he is caked in make-up and has contacts. So really that's not Rob Pattinson! GO BACK TO ENGLAND ROB! YOU SUCK!
