Allie Is Wired is reporting that the New Moon star has been hiding a four year relationship from the media, but proposed to his girlfriend on her recent birthday.
Her sources say, “They’ve had an on and off relationship that became more “on” and serious over the past year. This is pretty shocking. There could be a possibility that it might be true. Rob has every right to keep his personal life secret. But I am not the type of person that believes everything that the media says.

Here is the thing -no one knows if this is true or not. But if it is true- then I am happy for him. Marriage is a big step in a persons life. Being someones girlfriend is not the same as being someone wife. At the age of 23 he is a grown man- not a teenage boy. I am 25 and I am getting married this fall. If it’s true then I am happy for him, if not- then the people that are spreading these rumors need their ass kicked.
Of course Rob is engaged. He is engaged everyday to his manager… Business engagement !!!

I also really doubt, that it’s true. He would’ve had to let people sign confidentiality agreements even before starting Twilight, because such a relationship would’ve become public through shooting the movie. But by that time, noone could imagine, it was becoming such a huge success…
