Robert Pattinson Goes Back to School
It might be July, but Robert Pattinson is going to school anyway.
The Twilight heartthrob showed up early on Monday morning at Regis High School in New York to film a scene for his upcoming romance flick Remember Me.
If R-Pattz looks a little glum in these pics, there may be a good reason for it. The New York Daily News reports that Pattinson has soured on New York since beginning production on the film, and is desperately homesick for London.
“Robert is dying to get back home,” a source tells the newspaper. “He’s so over everything. He’s overwhelmed by all the girls—they terrify him! He says girls grab his neck and clothing all of the time, and he’s not used to that. Fans don’t do that to him in London. Everyone there is a little cooler about the fame thing, which is what he’s used to.”
Adds the source, “He’s so skinny and stressed. Everyone on set is worried about him.”
Poor baby.

This story is such rubbish. They take shots of Rob not smiling just to back up these lies. he has taken zillions of shots with fans and is happy to sign autographs and have photos taken. The lies being posted about Rob are getting ridiculous.

i feel bad for rob. i am a hugeee fan of twilight and robsten and everything but fans are too crazy. they need to let him breathe. things that have been going on are ridiculous.
I am very sorry that he is being harassed by overzealous admirers- but if you don’t want to be famous don’t apply for the roles. Do community theatre and live a quiet, simple, unassuming life as a nobody. Also, if it’s true that he doesn’t like it here in the states then he shouldn’t let the door hit him in the ass when he leaves.

Are you kidding? How do you know that the fans are their favourite thing? The money is their favourite thing and the fame is probably second favourite. Stop being such a naive idiot.
I don’t believe any of it was said. Let us all get along please. This is stupid fighting amongst one another over a rumor. Rob would not want us to be saying these things to one another. Rob is British and has fans alll over the world. Americans, Native Americans, Japanese, etc. Negative comments about other races is very disrespectful. I am grateful to Rob’s parents for raising such a wonderful, caring, respectful, humbled and talented man. Let us all be nice to one another for Rob’s sake.
angela, that was a really grown-up comment. it’s nice to see that not everyone is crazy. like you said rob’s respectful and talented so don’t just other people practise some repect towards him? he is a person, he is a human being and he needs some private space like every one of us. why not give it to him, dear die-hards?
To be fair, he was clipped by a taxi after running from a load of wacked out teenage girls. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was true.
I hope that when Rob is done filming this, he can go back home to London and realax and be himself with out all of these crazy girls/women grabbing him like he’s a piece of meet. Yes, ladies, he’s is a cutie, but show the young man some respect!!!
I think he needs a vacation. I’m a female fan, but I think if all this about the attention bothers him and makes him nervous, etc., hey, it comes with the territory. and all the mentors and people who could coach him through this. but, he does need a break from it. It would be a litttle much for anybody. Sorry, Rob, but toughen up while you’re on vacation.
