Robert Pattinson Goes Negative With the Press
Watch out, gossip-mongers! Robert Pattinson pays attention to the mean things you say about him—and he’s keeping a list!
The 22-year-old Twilight hunk tells Moviefone that he doesn’t pay particular attention to the reams of press accounts written about him. Except for the disses. “I used to [read the online gossip about himself] a lot more before and then…I only look at the negative stuff. I just want to know whoever’s saying negative stuff, and I just want to remember their names. I write it all down in my black book.” Better take heed. When the man who plays Edward Cullen decides to sink his teeth into you, he’ll probably chomp down hard. Or maybe he’ll just decide to slay the naysayers with his brooding good looks. Pattinson also clears the air about his supposedly substandard hygiene habits. Contrary to the claims of an anonymous New Moon crew member, he notes, “I…do shower.”
Thanks for atleast posting about this interview. So there it is, the facts, the truth…nice to see that this celebrity site posts the LINK to this interview at lest! I wouldn’t call this him going negative, it is him setting the record straight about the ridiculous rumors out there. That is what he is doing. Nothing to do with being negative with the press at all.

Those of us who know better never believed this crap about Rob not bathing. How ridiculous! I am happy to see he is still taking all of this madness in stride.
Poor thing, having to answer to stupid bloggers about every rediculous rumour about him… And I agree with the rest here, of course nobody really belived the shower story… such a stupid and lame rumour. We love Robby!!!
I can’t believe that just because stuff was quite for a while, people have to make up rumors about Rob not showering. It’s the stupidest thing ever and to top it all off, they didn’t even say who told press he didn’t shower! And he said it himself, “I…do shower.”

You’ve got to be kidding me. the guy is filthy -and looks it..he needs to have clean clothes and a bathe regularly. It in “style” right now for boys to look “dirty” – but honestly yuck, personal hygine is only showing consideration for your fellow co-workers. Would you put up with a guy who reeked all day at work on a regular job? Also, lack of bathing shows other “issues” as well, maybe psychological. Get this guy’s agent to get him a keeper.

It’s not about us accepting him being human, we know all too well he is, which is why we love him. But besmirching someone’s name because of personal hygiene of all things, which is probably untrue anyway- now THAT we find hard to accept, fan or no fan.
this negative crap i wouldnt call it negative though. hes just setting things straight duh. i would do the same thing if i was himn. there are a lot of rumors going around. i would probably punch someone. and im usually not the violent type.
