Robert Pattinson to Host Haiti Telethon. Why Yes, He IS Better Than You.
Don't worry, Haiti; Robert Pattinson is here to help! E! Online reports that the New Moon heartthrob has signed on for the Hope for Haiti telethon on Friday, which was spearheaded by George Clooney after the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti last Tuesday.
Pattinson will be the sole presenter in London, where Jay-Z and Bono will perform, while Clooney will host in Los Angeles, Wyclef Jean will preside in New York, and CNN reporter Anderson Cooper will handle hosting duties in Haiti itself.
The stateside leg of the telethon will feature performances by Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Shakira and Bruce Springsteen, while celebs such as Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and Colin Farrell have agreed to lend their talents to the telethon.
Way to step up, R-Pattz. Though, by proving yourself to be not only talented and handsome but charitable as well, you really are starting to make the rest of us look bad, and that's just not cool at all.
