Brace yourself, world; Robert Pattinson has entered the world of Twitter! Albeit very briefly.
The Twilight star—who has notoriously avoided tweeting like his character, Edward Cullen, avoids sunlight—finally broke down and took to the Twitter-verse, to celebrate co-star Peter Facinelli reaching 1 million Twitter followers today.
And what was R-Pattz’s momentous statement, tweeted via Facinelli’s account?
“Thanks a million. Here’s Rob … Hi, it’s Rob … My first and last tweet. My dad made me do it.”
Well, he is a man of few words. Which makes it odd that he hasn’t already taken to Twitter.

Such a sweet comment. I’m glad Rob isnt the sort of celeb who craves attention. I dont get celebs who actually want to let us all know what they are up to. He deserves some privacy.

Ok though i am SO glad Robert did a small twit, he deserves all the privacy he can get. The paps follow him EVERYWHERE he goes(if they could they would photo him taking a wizz)so he doesnt have to have one if he dont want to. its bad enough girls are driving him insane for not giving him the privacy he wants. Its okay to know what he thinks and whats in his thoughts or doing every now and then, but the man needs a break really. I was so happy for Rob tweet, it was super cute, I also would be Bery happy if Rob had a Twiiter account, but we all now that it’s someting that will not happen, and I respect that, he is a privite person.
I love him vry much, and i hope that all the fans never forget him, dont change teams, just because the other one as a hor body, Rob as a Hot boddy as well and the perfect face, and he is grat actor. ( forgive my bad english)
It was good to see Robert sending a tweet but the tweet itself was a totally and utterly lame. It sounded like he was forced to do it and the fact that there was no word of appreciation to his fans at all left me very disapointed. After all, WE his fans are the reason why he is where is today. It is a known fact that Robert hates these kind of sites, but internet IS the way of communication nowadays and it would only be fair of him to give back just a little for the support we offer him. No one says for him to tweet 2000 tweets per day, but now and then a little update and a few nice words to his fans wouldn’t hurt him at all. I hope he doesn’t turn into another Hollywood snob just because he can’t cope with the fame. I am a huge fan of Robert Pattinson but that doesn’t mean I am willing to accept such ungrateful behaviour. I hope he will consider tweeting again at some point with a few nice words aimed directly to his fans.

Rob actually meant his on-screen dad Peter Facinelli. Not sure why Rob’s short tweet was so hard to actually understand.

Yeah I cant decide if I like him or not, he just seems kind of c*cky and I dont think I can take it, he is hot and he does a really good job as Edward Cullen but really he seems like he may be a jerk.

actually i think he means peter (you know because he is edward’s dad in the series) since it’s peter’s account
