Robsten Photog Tells How He Got Kissing Photos
Earlier today, photos of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart kissing sent thousands of Twilight fans scrambling when Celebuzz exclusively posted them (Missed ‘em? See Them Here!). Quicker than you could say “Robsten,” the photos overtook Twitter, Facebook and celebrity sites around the world. But, just how did they come about? Celebuzz spoke directly to the photographer who snapped the pics seen ’round the Web to find out how he got the elusive rumored couple kissing on film.
The photographer (his first name is Randy) tells Celebuzz that this is the shot he’s spent months working day and night for. “I’ve been chasing Twilight for the last year and a half. I’ve been waiting for this shot for a long time … I knew they were a couple, but you never see many candid sets of them together,” Randy tells Celebuzz.
The photos came about when Randy trailed Stewart, Pattinson and Rob’s pal (and Kristen’s On the Road co-star) Tom Sturridge to a party near Boulevard St. Laurent in Montreal over the weekend.
“They left their hotel around 8:15, and they hopped in a van taxi and they kind of just got out … and during that 25 seconds, they were just making out and Tom Sturridge was standing there just looking.”
The photog says Pattinson’s recent penchant for hanging out around Stewart was a clear indicator to him that the two were a couple.
“You get that feeling like, ‘How could they not be a couple? If I was a couple and my friend was just working on a movie, would I go and sit outside of her trailer for 16 hours? If it was just a friend, I’d go back to London to see my parents or go to Las Vegas with my boys,” Randy said.
Still, even with the new photos, the photographer thinks the couple will do “the Beyonce-Jay-z thing… ‘Well, they caught us … but we’re going to keep doing our thing and not talk about it.’ They’ll just be more cautious. The nice thing is they genuinely like each other. They’re a legitimate couple. It’s not like someone said ‘You guys should date so you can be a power couple.’ They actually like each other.”

ugh. Twilight fans give me SUCH a headache. They demand photos for proof and when they finally get them they hate the person that took them. geeze. They are NEVER satisfied.

I don’t get the big deal. Most people meet their significant other at work and or college. The only thing that bothers me is her age, she’s extremely immature. I don’t feel she loves him and much as he loves her. I got the same impression from her last boyfriend, that he was so into her and she wasn’t.

And when did Kristen get a tattoo on her upper arm and how come the ponytail is longer in the unclear pictures than it is in the clearer pictures?

He’s been waiting months for this picture? If that’s the best you can do after months, buddy, you should throw in the towel now. I can get better quality out of my point-and-shoot in a pitch-black room. No, really. You can’t even tell who these people ARE. They could be anyone. And you can’t tell what context they’re in. Even if it IS Stewart and Pattinson, this could be a scene. The coloring of the light reminds me of romantic scenes from the first movie quite a lot.
I call hoax. And I think this so-called photographer should stop wasting people’s time with this crap and go take pictures of something that matters.

He spends all that time following them to capture this photo, and can’t manage to invest in a decent camera? I mean honestly, a) who cares if they’re together IRL, and b) that could be ANYBODY in the picture. Just a few days ago a photog with a DECENT camera set the media abuzz with a photo of what looked like Jesse James and Sandra Bullock. In cases like this it seems the media are just a bunch of sad, desperate vultures who would fight over a piece of rubber and pretend it was meat.

Okay some people need to stop jumping down other people’s throats! This is insane. This isn’t high school people. Chill the f*** out. Everyone has their own opinion about this picture and it should be respected. Except for the Miley Cyrus comment….rage on.
As I was saying, everyone has their own opinion. I’m not a robsten nor am I a nonsten…I’m an ‘I-don’t-know-sten’. The way I see this is:
a)Why are all the other pictures much clearer? If the photographer can get clear pictures of the others where they aren’t do much, why can’t he get one of this “kiss”
b) So blurry you can hardly see what they are doing. This is just like the KOL concert in Vancouver. They could be hugging. Photo’s can be taken completely out of context. I could lean in close to my friend to say something into her ear and someone could snap a photo and it would look like I was trying to kiss her. I could be just about to hug someone, and it would look like I’m about to kiss them. A photo is worth a thousand words or whatever. Just sayin’.
c) So many paps can get the stupidest, most unimportant pictures of them in a car, yet can’t get this infamous 25 second makeout session? I don’t know….
Like stated before, I’m not some “crazy, non believing robsten hater”…I’m just saying how I see it.

When have you ever seen Kristen with a “purse”? And if so, follow what you think is the “strap” where is the rest of the “purse”? Not to mention the fact that if you look at the thunder thighs on the girl, you know Kristen is not that fat, nor are the pants she’s wearing in the clearer shots, which are supposed to be taken at the same time, as snug to her body as they are in the unclear picture. I find it hard to believe that two people that try so hard to keep their relationship under cover would be so careless as to kiss each other in the lobby of a hotel when they know they are always being watched by some snarky individual, whether it is the paparazzi or the annoying fans that follow them wherever they go. You can also see the difference in Rob’s hair. Close to the head in the clear pictures, a lot fuller in the unclear pictures. I would say that this photo leaves something to be desired.
