It appears that Access Hollywood's story from Tuesday about Alex Rodriguez ditching his family to spend Thanksgiving with Madonna in New York may be false.

Rodriguez, 33, was photographed in Miami last night laughing while walking out of Houston's restaurant with his smiling wife Cynthia Rodriguez, 36, and their two daughters Natasha, 4, and Ella, 1.

After four years of marriage, A-Rod's wife filed for divorce in July citing his infidelity. Their divorce has since been finalized, and the two remain friendly enough to walk out of a restaurant with their two daughters.

Access Hollywood quoted a purported angry e-mail Cynthia Rodriguez fired off to a friend complaining that A-Rod was ditching his young kids for 50-year-old Madonna. But Us Weekly reports that A-Rod will indeed be in Miami with his family for the holiday.

"He's going to be with Cynthia and her entire family for Thanksgiving, and this has been planned for months," a source tells the magazine.

"It's quite a big celebration. It was always his intention to go to the family get together, and it includes a whole array of relatives."

In theory, this is yet another blow to Madonna and her relationship with the New York Yankees third baseman. It was reported on Monday that he has dropped out of attending Kabbalah classes, after taking interest in Madge's religion at the onset of their affair.

However, the Material Matron also flew to Miami yesterday. Maybe she'll get to squeeze in some time with the Rod after all.
