Russell Crowe was recently spotted leaving a cake store with some goodies.

This doesn't really seem to be in line with recent reports that he was planning to lose a buttload (literally) of weight for his upcoming Nottingham flick for Ridley Scott.

Perhaps it was low-fat cake?

Made with organic flour?

Snackwells?

We give up.

Ridley Scott might too, if Russ keeps carousing at the bakery.
