Ryan Philippe Gone Wild

A crew of freelance photographers claim they were attacked by a drunken Ryan Phillippe, 34, in Sydney, Australia, Tuesday night as he and girlfriend Abbie Cornish, 26, arrived back at their hotel.

How was it established that Ryan was drunk? He told everyone.

Phillippe allegedly screamed, "We're tired, and I'm drunk!"

This exclamation was punctuated by a lunge at photographers and incoherent screaming at them.

The Sydney police were called in, but there's no evidence that citations were issued for Ryan acting the fool.

Phillippe stomped around and was yelling and acting like "a spoiled child."

The couple attended the Calvin Klein Spring 09 launch show earlier in the evening. They looked the image of a young and elegant couple as they left for the affair. It was a different story after open bar time for Phillippe.

Phillippe is spending Christmas with his girlfriend Cornish in her homeland. His kids with 32-year-old Reese Witherspoon, daughter Ava, 8, and son Deacon, 5, will spend the holiday with mom and her man, Jake Gyllenhaal, 27.

The kids will split their time between Los Angeles (with Jake) and Tennessee to be with Reese's family.

Is all Ryan's rough-and-tumble playacting a way of gaining experience for his 9th century sword-and-skirt epic Last Battle Dreamer co-starring Cornish?

Umm, can we please get a few fact checks on this story...namely ALL the ages of the people in it! Ryan Phillippe is 34, Abbie Cornish is 26, Jake Gyllenhaal is 27 and Reese Witherspoon is 32, unless I've entered some warped reality where they've all swapped ages in some sort of attempt to stay a celebrity longer?!

I don't think Jake will spend holidays with his beard.

What's going on ryan is he ok? Why did he do that don't he not in the us with the behavior and will he be able to go back there? what a shame brought on his girlfriend and her family.
