Say what you will about about Ryan Seacrest; his choice of business partners may sometimes leave a lot to be desired, but the man knows how to strike a deal.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Seacrest has inked a three-year contract with CKX—the parent company of American Idol's producer 19 Entertainment—that will put another $15 million in his pocket annually.

For the math-impaired, that's $45 million total.

In exchange, Seacrest has agreed to continue hosting Idol, as well as any CYK show that might succeed it.

The deal triples Seacrest's previous salary of $5 million per year.

    nobody really cares about him. everyone is just obsessing about Paula at every idol fan forum. she deserves way more money. she has the most fans (trust me)
