Sarah Jessica Parker released a statement to Access Hollywood in which she refuted Kim Cattrall's claims that a sequel to that little independent movie about four career women struggling to make it in NYC is already in the works.
“We will do the sequel next summer…(it's been) difficult getting everybody all together at the same time," is what Kim told Melanie Brown recently on a British talk show.
Not so fast, Kim!
“I’m thrilled to know Kim is excited but all the deals are not yet done," Parker said in her statement. "With ‘the wind on our heels,’ we hope to make it a reality.”
Translation: Easy there, Kim. Let's iron out the finances first. The movie version of Sex and the City was huge. And I plan on getting paid, bitch!

Anyone who greenlights a Sex and the City movie sequel should be sodomized with a pitchfork.
