Priding herself on her singular sense of style, Sarah Jessica Parker was recently dealt a severe blow to her icon status when the silver strapless Nina Ricci gown she wore to the NYC premiere of Sex and the City has turned up at two other high-profile events on two other ladies. Oh, the horror!
Lindsay Lohan donned the gown in a campaign for Disney, while heiress Lauren Santo Domingo turned up in the exact same silvery sartorial selection at the Met's Costume Institute Gala, walking the red carpet with designer Olivier Theyskens.
Parker was less than pleased when she found out and told the New York Times, "Look, my affection for the dress hasn't changed," she said. "But what they did was so shortsighted. It's just unethical and disappointing that they would allow the dress to be worn again...I just wish it had been handled differently, and they had been straight about it."
Believe it or not, though, copycats of this kicky little getup have yet to be seen.

Sarah's body fits the dress the best.
No matter how many women wear the dress, it's still ugly.
There's nothing wrong with that dress, except for the fact that it doesn't cover SJP's face.
Why'd Nina Ricci play SJP like that? Boo!
that thing looks like aluminum foil!
