Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar is expecting her first child with husband Freddie Prize Jr., People magazine reports.

Gellar, 31, and Prinze, 33, have been married for six years. Their child is due in the fall.

"They're very excited," says a source.

Gellar will be juggling her mommy-to-be role with her professional obligations. She'll soon be shooting the HBO pilot, The Wonderful Maladays, for which she's also serving as an executive producer.
