Scarlett Johansson and Eva Mendes: In Good 'Spirit's in Paris

"Silken Floss" and "Sand Saref" (that's Scarlett Johansson, 23, and Eva Mendes, 34, to the general public) were front and center and glamorous for the The Spirit premiere at Cinema Gaumont Champs-Elysees Marignan in Paris Tuesday night.

The Twilight photo call was in town as well, but these ladies win hands down with their 50s-reminiscent ensembles.

Eva was pretty in polka dots, clad in a vintage Lancetti strapless dress.

And a slicked-back Scarlett was pale and gorgeous in a Bill Blass confection, accented by a slash of red lipstick.

Eager for kids Scarjo portrays Floss, the Spirit's Gal Friday, in the adaption of the classic Will Eisner comic strip.

Mendes is his potential love interest Saref.

That is, if the hero (played by Gabriel Macht) survives battling Samuel L. Jackson's the Octopus.

The film opens in the United States on Christmas Day.
