Scarlett Johansson sure has been saying kooky things lately.
First, beyond all logic, she claims that making out with Penelope Cruz in the Woody Allen flick Vicky Cristina Barcelona wasn't a sexy experience.
Now she says that the controversy over her e-mail correspondence with presidential candidate Barack Obama is the result of "extreme sexism."
Us Magazine quotes the actress: "God, if this was just, like, Kal Penn or George Clooney, or any of the other [Obama] surrogates or supporters ... nobody would even talk about it."
That's because no one knows or cares who Kal Penn is. As for Clooney, people are too busy placing their bets on when he's going to break down and make a move on Cindy Crawford to worry about who he's e-mailing.
See, Scarlett? There's usually a simple explanation for everything.
The John McCain-Heidi Montag alliance, however, still defies all explanation.
