Schreiber and Son Visit Mom in the Hospital
Liev Schreiber brought his one-year-old son, Alexander Pete, to meet his new baby brother Monday, two days after Schreiber’s girlfriend Naomi Watts, 40, gave birth to the family’s second son.
Seen here coming home to the family’s New York City apartment after visiting Watts and the newborn in the hospital, 41-year-old X-Men Origins: Wolverine star Schreiber looked every bit the proud papa as he cradled Alexander Pete (nicknamed “Sasha”) in his arms.

The resting mama was last seen on the big screen in the home-invasion horror flick Funny Games. She’ll next be up in lights opposite Clive Owen as a pair of world-conspiracy fighters in director Tom Tykwer‘s The International.
People reports that Schreiber and Watts’ second child, who arrived to the world on Saturday, December13, weighed in at a healthy 7 lbs., 13 oz., and has been named Samuel Kai Schreiber.
Which is a remarkably normal name, by modern celebrity-baby-name standards.
This is a child who will thank his parents once school starts for not burdening him with Olestra or Table Leg, or some other, similarly exotic tag.
