Scott Ruffalo’s Death Officially Ruled a Homicide
It’s now been over a month since the shooting death of Scott Ruffalo, brother of actor Mark Ruffalo.
The 39-year-old hairdresser was found at his Beverly Hills, California, condo on December 1, and died later that evening at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Now Ruffalo’s death has been officially ruled a homicide following an autopsy report, states the New York Daily News.
The findings note, “The entry wound is located at the top of the head at the frontoparietal scalp.”
While foul play was initially suspected in Scott Ruffalo’s death, police let main suspect Shaha Mishaal Adham—who was present in the condo at the time of the shooting—go free, after the incident was deemed a game of Russian Roullette gone badly.
However, a week later cops ruled the shooting to be a homicide, which the coroner’s report seems to now confirm.
In the meantime, Mark Ruffalo, 41, has dropped out of appearing in the upcoming Noah Baumbach film Greenburg.
He’s now expected to be replaced by Ben Stiller.
In a cruel piece of timing, Mark’s latest movie, sadly titled What Doesn’t Kill You, was released on December 12, 2008, less than two weeks after the December 1 shooting.
