Sean Penn Sits With Chavez: Part Deux

It’s cool to have Sean Penn on your “just drop by list,” but it’s somehow even more impressive if he’s on Hugo Chavez‘s list.

The Venezuelan president, after a successful icebreaker in ’07, held a second audience with the Milk star. For their first visit, the pair probably traded favorite all-terrain boot brands and swigged from bottles, talkin’ about resources.

This time the men indulged in something a bit more official, visiting a natural gas pipeline on Chavez’s turf this past Sunday.

The pres is no stranger to a celeb following; earlier this year he was linked to supermodel Naomi Campbell, after an interview Campbell conducted with Chavez for GQ magazine had the media speculating that they were dating.
