Good news, everyone; we’re about to get a lot more of Selena Gomez on the big screen!

The Wizards of Waverly Place actress has just landed one of three lead roles in the upcoming comedy Monte Carlo, about a trio of American women who masquerade as wealthy women in Monaco after abandoning a cheap-o Parisian getaway.

Nicole Kidman, who is co-producing the film, was originally slated to star in the movie, until the script was retooled for younger leads. Gossip Girl beauty Leighton Meester is also being courted to take a starring role.

The film, based on the novel Headhunters by Jules Bass, begins filming in May, with locations in Monaco, Budapest and Paris. Better start packing your bags, Selena—and maybe start preparing your goodbyes to a certain special someone.

What do you think—would Selena and Leighton have good onscreen chemistry? Share your thoughts in the comments section.
