Selena Gomez and Shakira, Together at Last! (VIDEO)

She Wolf songstress Shakira makes a guest appearance on Selena Gomez‘s Wizards of Waverly Place on April 16, for a Very Special Episode entitled “Dude Looks Like Shakira.” As it turns out in the episode (SPOILER ALERT!), the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer is actually Alex’s mischievous Uncle Kelbo in disguise. (And given that Uncle Kelbo is portrayed by Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s Jeff Garlin, that’s a pretty impressive disguise indeed.) But the best part: Gomez and Shakira get together for a little duet during the episode, belting out the tune “Gypsy” from Shak’s latest album She Wolf.

The only thing actually worth watching on Wizards is Selena, she’s a good comedian…but the rest of the cast and the story lines are just lame. Overall, as a show (story line, cast, etc), Hannah is waaaaayy better.
An one more thing… Selena is a good COMEDIAN. That’s about it. As a singer, she’s very weak..has no range, no flare, no strength in her voice..it’s just average. As a performer, she’s even worse… all she does is ealk back and forth on stage and jump up and down a little bit… there’s no excitement, no true SHOW… unlike Miley, who puts on a true performance..Selena would be better off if she just accepted it and sang folkier songs that just require her to sit still with some kind of instrument… btw, does she even play anything? Cause last I heard, Miley plays the guitar and the piano… just saying. So… Selena= ok as an actress, mediocre as anything else. Miley = still the teen queen, and will be for a while…
