Selena “Go-Go” Gomez is a tween sensation worthy of respect.

Many of her colleagues are sinking into a moral cesspit of mean-spirited pettiness and age-inappropriate behavior.

The 16-year-old Wizards of Waverly Place star avoids confrontation in favor of purer diversions. Such as going to the movies with gal-pals at the Sunset 5 Theatre in West Hollywood.

Look at that; just a few friends, enjoying an evening at the cinema, without so much as a catfight breaking out.

And when Selena’s not enjoying a wholesome talking picture, she spends her time encouraging young people to get involved with democracy.

Just don’t get between her and Nick Jonas. She’ll rip your arm off and club you to death with it. You’ve been warned.
